How are YOU doing? There is a LOT going on right now in the world with COVID-19. There are daily updates and changes on daily life/work restrictions, numbers of cases, projections, hospitals in need, etc. It is A LOT to take in and I am not going to pretend that I do not feel overwhelmed. I am trying to do the best I can to stay busy at home and be productive. I am going to give you five tips that are helping me stay sane!

You are probably sick of me saying make a to-do list, but it drastically maximizes my daily production. I feel better when I am being productive. Crossing off the tasks is seriously so satisfying! Create a to-do list first thing in the morning and start checking it off! If you don’t finish it all that day, it is OKAY! There will be tomorrow for you to get it done.
Here’s a to-do list template!

Get outside and get MOVING! Fresh air, sunshine, or snow (same thing, but different) can change a mood. How many times have you moaned and groaned about putting in a work out?!? BUT… once it is all over … you are SO happy you did it! THAT exact feeling is what you NEED right now. Get out, get active, stay sane!

WE all lead super busy lives, and if anything this has made us dramatically SLOW down. I guess there is no time like social distancing time, to watch ALLLLLLLL the tv shows!

^^^This is what I am currently binge-ing on hahaha, I am only *slightly* embarrassed by some of my choices! However, you can never go wrong with a solid SVU marathon!

Check in with your people and SET up virtual dates! Watch TV, have happy hour, clean your houses together, cook together, or gossip – BECAUSE social distancing can feel isolating and very restricting! But with a virtual date you can connect and be social! I have been using Google Hangout or Zoom (there are definitely others, but I am new at this).
Set up a virtual date today and check in with your people!

ALL. THE. FEELINGS. It is okay to have all the feelings. The news, the internet, social media… it is A LOT! What is happening with COVID-19 is so much to take in and it is changing daily. Please know I am feeling the same way and trying to take in reliable sources. If you need a break from social media … take it! If you can’t watch the news one day, then don’t. You’re allowed!
We will get through this together! Stay safe and stay home!
